Community Education

Mount Laurel's Community Education Department is a self-supporting arm of the Mount Laurel Schools. This department oversees the following tuition and fee-based programs:
Extended Day Care
Tuition-based day care for Mount Laurel students in Grades K-6 before and after school.
Extended Kindergarten Option
This tuition-based program is open to Kindergarten students attending Mount Laurel Schools for our half-day kindergarten program.

One-Week Courses in Computer Coding/Robotics This Summer at Hartford

The following one-week courses are being offered this summer by Mount Laurel Community Education.  They will be taught by Mount Laurel 6th grade STEM teacher Nick Handley.  All classes will be taught in the Hartford STEM lab... a room that is set up to maximize student learning and enjoyment. SJ Spartans Basketball Academy

The South Jersey Spartans Basketball Academy comes to Mount Laurel this summer for children of all skill levels, ages 7-14. Seven sessions are offered, each running Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. daily. Certified instructors will create a safe and fun environment for children to learn the game of basketball. SJ Spartans Basketball Camps provide children with a wonderful opportunity to improve their skills while staying active throughout the summer months.
Families will pay a one-time registration fee of $25 per child, plus $110 per session, per child. Students are encouraged to bring snacks and drinks, and wear sneakers. Mount Laurel Community Education has a part-time summer nurse available. Parents are encouraged to administer medications at home.

Curtain Call Summer Theatre Program

Curtain Call Performing Arts Center is an award-winning 6-week musical theatre program for children ages 6-17 held at Harrington Middle School. Participants will be featured in one of three productions, receive training in voice, acting and dance, fuse literacy and reading comprehension with scene and character work, make new friends and develop self confidence that will go far beyond the stage.
Camp dates: June 27 through August 5, 2016
Hours: 8:30am to 3:30pm (extended care hours available)
Monday through Friday
No prior theatre experience is required.
