Community Education

Mount Laurel Community Education

The Mount Laurel Community Education Program offers a wide variety of academic, vocational, avocation, enrichment, and recreational courses and activities for the preschool through senior citizens. The Community Education Program is a self-supporting program offering over 175 programs throughout the year. Residents may direct comments, suggestions, or interest in teaching or participation to Supervisor of Community Education Suzanne Haftman at our Masonville Facility - 856-231-5891.

The Mount Laurel Community Education department offers a variety of non-credit, fee-based courses for community residents of all ages. Classes are offered during the day and evening hours.

In addition, the following activities are coordinated through the Community Education Department:


The Special Talented Enrichment Program (STEP) is designed to meet the needs of students who demonstrate exceptional talent in art. The program attempts to extend and enrich students' skill and ability in their talent. It is available to children of Mount Laurel families in grades 5-8
