In addition to the projects listed for each school below, the proposed additions and alterations would result in space for Full-Day Kindergarten Programs in all six kindergarten through fourth-grade buildings.

Countryside Elementary School: 

  • Replacement of areas of acoustical ceilings
  • Replace roofing system including insulation
  • Replace damaged concrete walks/curbs
  • Repave or replace damaged asphalt paving
  • Provide all new LED lighting throughout building
  • Replace fire alarm system
  • Replace electrical outlets with tamper-proof outlets
  • Upgrade security system
  • Upgrade playground equipment
  • Remove and replace concrete floor slabs in four classrooms that have settled
  • Replace boilers, rooftop units, exhaust fans, pumps and controls
  • Replace fire alarm system
Fleetwood Elementary School: 
  • Replace clock/speaker system 
  • Upgrade security system
  • Remove incinerator
  • Replace HVAC controls
  • Replace sinks in classrooms
  • Upgrade playground equipment
  • Replace damaged concrete walks/curbs
  • Repave or replace damaged asphalt paving
  • Replace roofing system including insulation
  • Provide all new LED lighting throughout building
  • Replace boiler, rooftop units, exhaust fans
  • Remove asbestos from incinerator
  • Replace kitchen hood exhaust fan

  • Replace roofing system and insulation
  • Provide all new LED lighting throughout building 
  • Replace electrical outlets with tamper-proof outlets throughout building
  • Replace boilers, rooftop units, exhaust fans, unit ventilators and control
  • Upgrade toilet rooms including ADA accessibility
  • Provide alterations of classrooms and small group rooms into two new kindergarten rooms
Larchmont Elementary School: 
  • Replace generator
  • Upgrade security system
  • Replace fire alarm system
  • Replacement of areas of acoustical ceilings
  • Replace damaged concrete walks/curbs
  • Repave or replace damaged asphalt paving
  • Upgrade playground equipment
  • Replace clock/speaker system
