SCOPE AND SEQUENCE

 

The counseling curriculum differs in many ways from academic curricula. Since stated objectives are applicable to every grade level, the scope and sequence is not presented in its traditional form. Designed for all grades, standards provide goals that are integrated throughout the entire school curriculum and environment. These goals are the engine that drives the program components, including developmental guidance, individual planning, counseling, and program management. Implementation will increase in sophistication and vary in application according to the appropriate developmental level.
