Philosophy

The dynamic evolution of technology creates unparalleled opportunities for today’s learners. The key that opens the door to future opportunities is found in the development of an effective understanding of technology and its usage. Therefore, it is important to employ technology as a vehicle for problem solving and life-long learning.

To maximize the power of technology, Mount Laurel students must be provided with equitable access and meaningful instruction utilizing the tools and processes that facilitate education. The goal of this curriculum is to seamlessly integrate technology into all areas of learning through student-centered, project-based activities. Its aim is to make technology natural to the educational experience and inherent to the way students work and think, in and beyond the classroom.

The Mount Laurel Technology Curriculum is designed to adapt to the continuing advancements in technology. This program will enable learners to become more comfortable, responsible, and competent users of technology in all the independent and collaborative situations one encounters in life.
