Supervisory and Administrative

Supervisory and administrative positions include certificated and classified management, as well as confidential employees. Certificated management positions are ones which require state certification which authorizes the individuals to perform in the areas of their responsibility.

Certificated Employment

Certificated employment includes all positions in the school district which require certification by the State of New Jersey. This category includes all teaching positions, counselors, psychologists, specialists, and coaching positions. Coaching positions require certification other than state certificated, which is processed through the district Personnel Office.

Current Openings in Certificated Positions:

Teacher of the Deaf - Ten month position will report to the appropriate building principal, includes single medical/dental coverage and is available September 1, 2008.

REQUIREMENTS:
Must be New Jersey Teacher of the Deaf Certified

Support Staff

Current Openings in Support Staff Positions:

CUSTODIAN NIGHT 3:00 TO 11:00 - HILLSIDE SCHOOL.
Twelve-month position, available June 1, 2007 or upon completion of paperwork.  Position includes single medical and dental benefits. Will report to Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds.
HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA AND BLACK SEAL LICENSE PREFERRED

Bus Drivers: CDL and associated experience preferred, but will train.

Bus Aides
: Demonstrated ability to work with handicapped children.

Substitute Aides:
$63.13 per day

Playground Aides:
Springville, Fleetwood, Hillside & Larchmont Schools

Cafeteria Aides:
Springville School

Extended Day Care Supervisors: $10.25 per hour, at Fleetwood (2:30-6 p.m.) and Hartford (2-6 p.m.) Both five days per week.

Extended Day Care Aides for 2006-2007 School Year: $8.50 per hour, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. to assist in care of students enrolled in Extended Day Care after school, five days per week, at Hartford School. Also, aides needed 2:30 - 6 p.m. at Fleetwood School and 3-6 p.m. at Larchmont, Parkway and Springville Schools. All five days per week.

Substitute secretaries and school nurses – on an as-needed basis. Substitute secretaries must have office experience. Substitute School Nurses must be RN Certified or have Substitute Nurse Certificate. Mount Laurel Community Education Instructors

The Mount Laurel Community Education office is seeking dynamic and energetic instructors for the 2006 fall season.

Do you have a special skill, hobby, or interest to share? Community Education invites you to apply to teach an enrichment class for children, youth, adults, or families. We are on the lookout for new instructors willing to share their expertise with the community.

Community Education requires appropriate licensure, fingerprinting, and certification when working with a particular subject or children. Community Education will welcome experienced adults with special interests and hobbies to teach general interest and enrichment classes.
