Technology
Student/Computer Ratio: 3:1
Internet Connectivity: 100%
Integration of technology into the curriculum is augmented through the use of technology labs, ACTIVboards in the classroom and mobile laptop computers.

Assessment Initiatives
Student progress is assessed in many ways, including New Jersey’s mandated ASK3, ASK4
and GEPA tests. Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) computerized tests are administered twice annually. This individualized test results in immediate return of useful data in assessing student progress and curriculum.

Extra Curricular Activities
Mount Laurel students participate in school-sponsored activities including Homework, Yearbook, Technology, Math, Chess, Nature, Art, First Aid, Theater, Student Council, Battle of the Books and Sign Language Clubs. Intramural and Interscholastic athletics are offered at the middle school level and the community is home to several independent youth organizations. A joint commitment by the district and township results in the sharing of meeting space, field usage and cooperative projects that span all ages.

Community Service
In an effort to educate “the whole child,” Mount Laurel Schools place great value on community commitment. Our student ambassador groups host events for senior citizens annually. Entire school populations participate in many fund-raising campaigns for local and national causes each year. Service projects between schools allow interaction across grade levels and provide role model support.
