Annual School Election Central

election

Today is Election Day!

Polling places are open from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Your polling place is listed on the sample ballot you received by mail, but if you've misplaced that, here's a list of addresses and polling locations.

Voters are asked
to select three members to the
Mount Laurel Board of Education,
each for a full three-year term, and to vote on the proposed budget for the 2008-2009 school year.

Incumbents Margaret Haynes of Farnwood Road, William Crowe of Glenbrook Drive and Diane Blair of Yorktown Road will seek to retain their seats, while newcomer Ronald Bess of Mount Laurel Road has also filed a nominating petition for a board seat.

Also on today's ballot is the proposed budget for the 2008-2009 school year.

Dr. Rath's presentation to the board of education during the March 19 public hearing appears here in its entirety.

This year, the state has provided a "user-friendly" format for the budget for public review. Find that here.
