Mr. Jack Jeckot has been teaching in Mount Laurel NJ since 1973. Until 1995, he was the Music Teacher at Mount Laurel's Countryside School teaching Grades K-6 (later K-5 when 6th grade was moved to the Middle School). In 1995, Jack transferred to the Thomas E. Harrington Middle School and now teaches seventh grade general music. He also has produced the Harrington Winter Chorus and Spring Talent Shows along with overseeing the Rock Jammin' Club (a venue for aspiring musicians to practice under the guidance of Mr. Jeckot). Jack also volunteers his time at the Harrington theater to work with our Stage Manager, Mrs. Christine Jeckot, and long time volunteer Mr. Bill Ledoux. Since 1983, Jack has directed the Summer STEP Music/Theater program. In 1996, this was expanded to include a Spring S.T.E.P.workshop as well.
