Delayed OPenings

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Here are some important facts you need to know for any two-hour delay we may have: Further information on Delayed Openings is included on Page 10 of our school handbook.

· Pre-School classes are cancelled for the day
· AM Kindergarten will run from 11:00 – 1:30
· PM Kindergarten will run from 12:55 – 3:25
· Lunches WILL BE served
· Recess will be cancelled
· Students will start their day with whatever they are usually scheduled to attend beginning at 11:00 and will continue with the remaining days’ schedule
· Extended Day Care is still running before the school day starts. For a two-hour delay, Day Care opens at 9:00.

Though two-hour delays can be a bit confusing, but they enable the district to avoid extending the school year.
