This Registration is open to only new students entering or returning to the District

The student registration process is completed electronically.  Parents should electronically send all supporting documents to register students in the district. Once you submit your registration online, you will receive an auto-reply confirmation through your email.  Please email all applicable documents listed below and any questions to our registrar at [email protected].

Be sure to include your student's name and school in the communication.
Parents needing to drop off registration documents may drop copies in the mail slot in the front door or mail to Mount Laurel Township Board of Education Administration Offices, 330 Mount Laurel Road, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054.  Phone: 856-235-3387 ext 23022

Determination Of School To Attend

The school your child will attend is determined based upon where you live in Mount Laurel. Our geographic sending areas are bordered by major roadways within Mount Laurel. Kindergarten Entrance Requirements

All children entering Mount Laurel's Full-Day Kindergarten Program in September must be 5 years old on or before October 1 and must provide proof of residency in Mount Laurel. You may begin your Kindergarten registration below.

If your child is a current 4 year old Mount Laurel Preschool student, you must register him/her for Kindergarten for the 2022-23 school year. Please complete the Online Registration Form and provide only updated immunization records.

All Registrations must provide the following if applicable.

Step 1 - The Registration Requirements

  1. Copy of Original Birth Certificate
  2. Verification of residency (three required): - registrants must occupy a residence in Mount Laurel Township to attend district schools:
    • One (1) proof must be a copy of a deed or settlement/mortgage/lease papers or agreement of sale.
    • Two (2) proofs may be copies of utility bills, insurance bills, bank statements, or tax bills/statements.
    • If you are leasing/renting a property and can not provide a lease, you will need to complete the Landlord Affidavit / Student Affidavit of Residency
    • If you anticipate to move to Mount Laurel, you will need to complete the Anticipated Move into District Form in addition to residency proof.
  3. Immunization records (the start date in our schools may be delayed without these records).
  4. Universal Health Form for students in grade Pre-K to Grade 4 Students or Physical Evaluation Form for students in grades 5 through 8. Valid 1 year from date of exam. (the start date in our schools may be delayed without these records).
  5. Complete Special Education Medicaid Initiative Parental Consent Form (SEMI).
  6. Student Residency Form Student Residency Status.

Additionally, these items may be needed, please complete and submit if applicable.
  1. Previous school transfer card (For all students grades 1 through 8).
  2.  Records Request Form (For all students grades 1 through 8).
  3. Child Study Team IEP or 504 documentation (if applicable).
  4. Custody documentation (if applicable).
  5. Change of Address Form
    1. Updated proof of new address is required
Step 2- Complete the Registration Online Information Form
You will be required to create an account through our portal. All preschool students will be required to submit registration for Kindergarten. Kindergarten registration for the 2023-2024 school year will open in January. 

(If your child is entering the 5th grade through 8th grade in the fall 2023, you DO NOT need to re-register)
